Love in in Your Bones - New Pendant

I'm really excited to start working with Faux Bone. I've had a lot of designs sketched out for a long time now, waiting to take the plunge. It's a lot of fun but definitely different to master. I'm really into mixed metals and organic, primitive looking things right now. Here's my first published piece :) She took a while, but I really love her.

A piece of copper sheet is cut, hammered, drilled and riveted with sterling to a piece of faux bone that has been distressed and carved with a primitive heart and the word love. Sterling silver rivets connect the 'bone' to the copper, and sterling jump rings are placed through sterling silver tube rivets.

This piece is one of a kind and for sale at etsy, but I can make a similar one if you'd like something else stamped into the heart. Please allow a few days for custom orders though.

Comes on a black leather cord of your length choice. 16" will be used if not specified. The cord is finished with a handmade sterling clasp.

PSST - This would make a killer Valentine's Day gift for the eclectic person :)

These ae great pendants, I love the faux bone against the shiny metal. I agree with you the primative against the metal is a nice contrast.
